Hi guys,
I just changed van insurers, and told them obviously i was using it for business, told them i had a van mounted pressure washer and whatnot, and they said thats fine, it falls under normal business policy. I thought there would be some difference considering i have a diesel tank for the pressure washer mounted in the back of my van.
Any thoughts? What do all you other van mounted guys have in place regarding insurance?
Cheers,
Matt

Hi Matt,
We have just insured a second van and had the same response from my (new) insurance company but because it is parked up in the road outside my guys house i have taken out £5ks worth of tooling insurance! Which cost an extra £105.00 (ish) a year
Regards

Hi Alan,
Yeah ive got £5000 cover for my tools/machine through my liability insurance. I was just wondering if anyone had any special policies for their van insurance seeing as how there is basically another engine/diesel tank etc in the back of the van. Seems like it just falls under the normal business policy.
Cheers,
Matt
