Title: Best WFP under £200
Post by: careless.david@gmail.com on March 19, 2011, 08:57:58 am
I am currently using a 17ft glass fibre pole with a Vikan head, for general W/C & Conservatories.
Thing is, my arms & shoulders are suffering from the weight & flexibility of the pole.

I am looking to upgrade & get a longer pole as I have some 3 storey & high Mill work to do.

I only have around £200 to spend - what pole & what lenght is best for the money?

Cheers for any advice.

27ft CLX, but there wont be much difference in the weight, but it will be a far superior pole.

Also having a SL brush on the end will help instead of the vikan

Just bought setup Lee suggests. Cost £227 inc. delivery from Gardiner.

Interestingly, just been to Purefreedom in Grimsby to have van system fitted and went out with their guy for training - he uses hybrid 27' pole all the time even on 1st floor general work. Extra length used as counterbalance when accessing over conservatories etc. have to say it worked! pole much easier to control than at 17'fully extended length.

If you get a 27 clx you can remove a section and use it as a 22ft which will reduce the weight and just add it back on when you need it.

I find I only use my 27 a couple of times a month, my 22 slx does everything else including most 3rd story

Yes, undo the clamp on the bottom section and pull it off
