Title: Overpriced round
Post by: S on March 18, 2011, 08:47:23 pm
Just see this on ebay. Window cleaning round for sale. £1020 a month. 177 cussies. Wanting nearly 10 grand for it.  9.5 times the monthly clean.  Any takers.

I think it is wishful thinking on his part.

i'm not far away from the area.by the sound of it he has very small houses (or bad prices),probably most of them terraced houses with bad access.i work in the area and there are a lot of them.i wouldn't want this kind of work especially for that price

I reckon its a top of the range barrow. Complete with bell and go fast strips.

Window cleaners still clean, with barrows?  Its been a long time since I have seen one.  The ladder must hang on the side.  One of them wooden ladders-).

Having the round for 20 odd years. He has not put the prices up much.

he also didn't said two of the most important things ,how long the round has been established for and how long it takes to complete the work

I emailed him. He sold the first half last year for 10000.
He looked on the internet and saw two rounds for sale with the same customer numbers has his, and sold on the same price has them rounds. But not on monthly value of them rounds, but on the customer numbers he has..

All somes backwards to me-).
