You guys that employ 1 person, How much are you paying for liability insurance?

SAJ thats cheap mate.
I employ 3 and it costs me £1600 a year - think its 10million EL but that also includes PL ( 5million I think - might be more)

PL 2 mill need to up that to 5 mill in May
EL 10 mill

1 employee, £10m EL and £5m PL thru Allied Insurance circa £400pa includes property being worked on and pressure washing.

if you try stephen ayre at G.T.Insurance, he is very helpful, he will be able to insure you, his number is 0115 9394747, been in insurance a long time, we have started going to him now as helpful and competetive, all our vans are with steve and will be loking to go over to steve for public liability & employers liabillity when ours is due, - which is due soon so will now if hes competitive on that aswell,

wish i was ;D, but if someone asks then i can only tell them my experiance, is it realy a 100 times - my commision should be huge ;D,
no commision at all but i have had good service and valuble advice, being local to me i can call in anytime for advice, to me that and price are why i go,
