As I'm still a tadpole in the world of window cleaning I thought I'd ask your advice, I've not had a WFP brush before but did look at someone else's pix the other day of a knackered one.
Is this how they look new?

Congrats, you now now know what a flocked brush is! ;D
-
So I'll assume that's what they look like new ;D
Hope it lasts longer than it looks. While I'm at it, is there some special technique to fitting an Ali goose neck and actually lining up the brush correctly on the end. Mine seems to only tighten 90 degrees out ???

Ignore Alex, he works for Aeriel ::)
Anyway, to fit a goosneck or plastic angle & have it tight in the correct (aligned) position you will have to apply a good few wraps of PTFE tape to the male thread. You can even use a wrap of other tape, electrical tape will do the job also but only require maybe one wrap.
As Bluefrog said, that is an excellent brush. ;)

Cheers guys, just thought it looked a little knackered ;D It being my first one an all :)
I ended up sticking the plastic adapter on the end of the Goose neck and it all fits rather nice with that extra added angle if wanted.

It would be better with just the plastic angle adaptor, a more rigid head assembly. Use the goosneck only when required. ;)

Think you might be right there, I'll be ordering a few of their quick release things to make life easier to swap things about.
Whilst I'm on the subject of brushes, as I know sod all about them at the moment what are the good points of the one I currently have? And what other brush should I consider?
I feel like Inspector Gadget at the moment, I have so many toys planned for my pole I wont be able to lift it ;D

The good points are a nice soft action & good cleaning power with light weight. However, a flocked (broken bristle ends) brush tend to hold more dirt in them than Monofilament (not broken ends).
Other brush to consider is a monofilament SL dual trim or Xtreme.
Brushes are quite personal things, what one likes another doesn't. It depends on a few factors really.
The brush you have though IMO is a superb choice & very easy to use, especially for a newb. ;)
