I am sure you probably bought about a million metres to keep the costs down which i do appreciate, but please...when this has run out....can we have something better? I will now have to deal with zee enemy to find some hose that does not twist into a figure of 8 every two minutes! love you really, but please change it!!!

It is very poor hose I have to admit. I hate mine. However, it's probably all down to cost. I use Polarbrites hose which is really flexible and is unaffected by the cold. However, it's not cheap and cant be pushed into the John Guest fittings that Gardiners supply (you have to use an insert).

oops, just noticed it's the same stuff as the earlier post.

Ok so your not alone, at least I've had the chance to find out before I start getting the arse untwisting all day  ;D

Guess I'll be buying a new hose to replace my new hose  :(

Cheers for the heads up.

Mine won't loop up if it's chilly - just bundles up like a spring and hangs like it 'till the next job.

when looping it make a loop where it comes out the pole but then you make another loop but the opposite way which goes behind the first loop, the next loop too the front, then back and so on, works perfect if that makes sense  ;D

Me too, love the poles, but the hose is not up to much. Though it is the one and only let down.

Messing around like that would drive me loopy.

Dont know what your moaning about ! got a clx 18 with gardiners yellow pole hose and its cracking hose.

I make it into a loop around my hand and elbow, then velcro the end to the loop.

You must be doing something funny with it to kink up as much as you say.

I'll make a video tomorrow if i remember

Mine isn't to bad but must admit at times the hose does seem to have a mind of its own and when I turn round it is all twisted. To be honest though not used any other hose to compare.

i thought most of you used aqua-daptors now with the pole hose that comes with it?

what do you guys use as flow control then?i use a pole tap and it doesnt matter which pole hose i use it always ends up twisting and kinking!usually inside the pole as well!!

Baaaah Humbug!  >:(

This pole hose Gardiners are selling at the moment just isn't supple enough.
I knew it was gonna be a problem as soon as it was delivered because it seems too rigid and also seems to have "memory" so wants to return to its coiled up state rather than laying flat.
Don't like it at all.

I totally agree about the pole hose. I bought a 27ft CLX a few months back, upgrading from a Streamline 21 footer. The hose in the CLX is absolutely dreadful compared to the Streamline hose. It really detracts from the superior pole and I sometimes find myself going back to the heavier Streamline pole just because the hose is so much better.
