hi guys
Started producing my own water via a RO in the garage about three weeks ago.
I suppose i've made about 1000 litres of pure water in that time, so one can calculate about 4000 of waste.
Thing is a water guy was walking around checking hydrants this morning and he told me they'd lost a lot of water recently. Do you think the two may be connected?
Also for the guys who have had to have meters fitted, does this make the whole operation expensive to run?
Thanks.

Yes, I do pay the water rates, £46 per month, and when the last statement came it informed us that all local residents would have a meter by 2015! will have to see how it goes.

They were always down my road. They knew they were losing three cubic metres every twenty four hours because they had a meter at the end of the close. They thought there must be a leak and would listen for it with some headphones.
They never did work it out. I've moved and am on a meter now £20 a week. :-[
