Post by: Sean Dyer on March 15, 2011, 08:55:55 am
Anyone know the best place to get one??

HAve looked at a few online but theres loads, dont wanna get ripped off

I need one as i keep moving at moment and so am sick of changing stationary and wasting flyers , business cards, at least with 0800 i can just redirect and it looks quite pro

why dont you get a virtual landline to mobile number that's what i did  this is the company i use http://www.the0800numbercompany.co.uk/

I have been told by loads of people that they would rather phone a local number than a 0800 ;)

My wife does 0800 numbers .... Think i pay about £5 a month for mine... can keep your number too.

Email me if you want to know more

Oh and she can get you a landline number you can take anywhere in the world with you too which may be a better option

Try www.numbergroup.com only 14p per minute + VAT, to receive calls direct to your mobile, no set up or monthly fee's, choose your number from list for free, or you can buy a memorable number, but these cost around £100 omwards,Brian.

Been thinking about the same thing today.

Same a few people saying that they prefer to ring a local code than an 0800.

Looked into this after hearing about it on the radio, any one use this?

The Soho66 took about 2 hours to start working, I used a previous company that were too expensive but there's took about 5 mins to start working.

The two I've used also come with full voice recording by default via the web interface, just read all the t's and c's before you commit as they can be a bunch of sharks sometimes.

I'm using uk2numbers (http://0800.uk2numbers.co.uk/0800-Numbers.cfm#).

No monthly fee/line rental.

£50 deposit at start and they need to see a scan of your ID,i had to email my driving licence.
