Hi All
I am cleaning quite a few conny roofs and am using TFR/similar mixed with water 50/50 brushed on using wfp brush, left for a few minutes and then rinsed off. The finished result is very good but the finials take ages if they are really green. I have just come back from quoting another, inside and out and the finial is very very bad. What technique other than scrubbing is used? I have a power washer but have so far refrained from using on a conny roof.
Any advice appreciated, cheers.

I would go careful cleaning finials as they are glued on...which I found to my cost :'(

Yes, I have done that too

Yeah, I would be careful with a power washer, you could snap one off or knock the whole lot off.
Lost your number by the way when I lost my phone a few weeks back. Those gutters are still due so let me have your number and I will organise them to be priced up. David 07999522999.

I use a flocked brush with fan jets havent come across one that didnt clean up yet.

prespray them with chlorus then rinse of with power washer but only use a rinse nozzle any other nozzle will damage them or knock them off.

Cheers guys. Yes, I have one peice to glue back on too! :)

i use ecover for con roofs, as its eco friendly.
so you fellas who use tfr and ubik are they eco friendly, if not, do you still use it if the water runs into a water butt from the con roof ???
-
Not sure steve , as long as they dont bath or drink from the water butt cant see prob , ubik is used lots in the kitchen areas so it cant be all bad can it ?
Never had a prob with it killing plant life or pets yet !
