Title: selling a rural round
Post by: Scrimble on March 13, 2011, 06:55:34 pm
in your opinon how would you value a rural window cleaning round with most customers properties being cleaned on a 8 weekly basis, mainly all large properties with prices ranging from £15 - £75

reason i ask is because i would have though 3-5 times the 4weekly value would be about right but what about when there 8 weekly?

opinions please?

i would proberly go off the average monthly value and times it by what you think its worth 3-5x if its good work 5x value

Id divide by 2 and times by 8- 10 if the hourly rate is good
Someone will but it, but it depends how quickly you want to sell

Where is it?

Mark ... you buying or selling ?

If its good work then i'd say monthly average x 3 - 5

well look at it this way,  if you have say £500 worth of rural work done on a 8 week rota,  and £500 of work on an estate on a monthly clean it means the monthly is worth £6000 a year where the rural is worth £3000 a year plus all your fuel costs and travelling times over that year.

if they were both being sold at the same price which one would you buy ?

I'm thinking of selling but not prepared to give away £200+ days of work for a measly 1.5 - 3x, I want 6x for it really

What you want and what somebody is prepared to pay are probably two different things!!
