Title: Whats the best way to.......
Post by: Afterglow Window Cleaners on March 13, 2011, 09:06:38 am
Hey all,

I have been wfp for a few months now, but I still have have problems with certain windows.

The ones most problematic seem to be the ones with the thick black seals, when you rub your fingers along them, the black comes off, this seems to affect the clean as the black also seems to contaminate my water when I brush across them, dripping down the windows.

So, whats the best way to do this type of window? do you guys avoid the seals and frames and just try and concentrate on the glass, or do you give them a really good scrub them rinse later? any advice would be great..

Cheers, Gaz

Gaz,

I do a bungalow with this problem the windows are old hence the rubber seals are perished.
As it's a bungalow i always clean it trad, luckly the customer gives me her cloths to use.
The black does also leave the odd marks on the frames but there is not much i can do to prevent this.

Could you not clean this Trad?
Tell the customer that you are getting this problem each clean etc..

Good Luck  :)

Luke..
