Title: First complaint
Post by: peekeclean on March 12, 2011, 01:29:19 pm
Hi all
As above realy had a call to clean someone across from a pub on a main road.
Went and cleaned it wed. Friday she called to say they had dryed bad on the upstairs windows, she then told me the front had been egged a few weeks ago and they just washed off with a hose pipe but thats still showing.
When i go to quote i allways say if they dry not up to your standered just call and i will sort them out so she was ok, but when i looked at them they was realy sxxt (dirty runs every where)so iv rewashed them and scraped the window that was egged so hope they turn out good this time.

The trouble is what next if there crap again? Is it just the windows as iv never had a complaint befor so i must be doing things right.
Has anyone had this before?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, you don't win them all. It won't be the last. as long as you are only getting the odd complaint  here and there its normal. But do go back and work out what went wrong, not so much for the sake of the customer but for your own learning process.

Its almost certainly s**t from the top of the frames or the frames are milky.

Once in a while you're going to get one wrong.  The fact that you went back and redid them is a good start.  Give her a call or pop round to check they came up fine the second time. She'll think you're the best thing since sliced bread for being interested and she'll recommend you everywhere.

Yes, it will happen occasionally.
Just go back an hour or so later to collect and have a look then.
