Can you clean carpets with a normal rotary machine & carpet pads also do u need to vacuum once u have done an area or do the pads soak up the water & dirt
-
The method is known as LM or VLM for a very good reason................consider the case of a face cloth being satured in hot water before washing your face.
Would you take the cloth from the sink with water streaming from it to wash your face and splattering water all over the place while doing so, or would you soak the cloth, wring it out, then apply it to your face.

HI Paul,
You pre vac
pre spray
agitate ( if needed )
Dampen cleaning pad
Then "buff" as you would normally
Pad will collect the dirt.

So u don't have to use your extraction machine after. And can a normal rotary machine be used with the pad attached
-
Best to go on a course than experiment on custy's carpets.
-
Maybe even have a go on your own carpets paul

You may wish to use hwe and THEN bonnet.
This will help to remove excess moisture, carpets drier quicker, but helps prevent wicking.
Anyone near you that does buffing and you can tag along with for a job or two.

Jason has a good thread on here at the mo with a vid link. Also you'll find loads more similar on youtube.
