Hi i recieved my RO system through the post today but when i ordered it i did realise i needed a converter for a hozelock fitting on the feed, to be honest im not really sure what i need to do this. There is a 1/4" tap that fits to the small white feed pipe but what do i need on the other end to fit a hozelock connection from the mains feed any help or a link to the product in need would be great thanks.

You need the Male standard hose connector (6mm to 1/2" hose)
Thats what I did.

Thanks but would i then need to do away with the tap also the pipe from the RO is smaller than 6mm would i need to sleave it with 6mm pipe would that work?.

I pushed the RO pipe onto the barb of the hose connector and it works fine and never leaks.
The other option you have is to get a longer length of RO pipe which is long enough to reach your tap and then use a John Guest fitting which has a 3/4" internal thread on one end that will screw onto your tap and a 1/4" pushfit connection in the bottom to accept the RO pipe.
