now in the market for new pole i think.
-
gardeners poles are the best.... went through several unger but the gardeners clamps make the pole last so much longer cos of the adjustment on the clamps
i use a 21 ft clx for most domestic jobs and a carbon 44 ft for higher work - excellent
-
Ive just bought slx 18 and slx 25 they look the biz, shame to use them i like the aqua adapter too
-
SLX 25 for almost a year - still like new
SL2 nearly 2 years = better than new ;D

I'm still pondering but it will certainly be either two SLX's of different sizes or an SLX and a SMAX 40.
What's the largest pole that you find easy to use closed down, i.e. would using an SLX35 for ground level work be a total pain.
Cheers

slx 22 and a slx 35 a clx 18 and a clx 9ft, but at mo only using slx35 since its got no positive stops i split it in two use lighter half all day till i need more, coupled with quick connect goose necks on carbon and normal both fitted with extreme brushes.

I feel like I did when I started Carp fishing, this is going to end up costing me a fortune ;D

Yep I stopped about 8 years back, but for some reason I can see a huge rod bag getting filled with WFP's ;D
And then there's the business end..... :( pop up or on the bottom ;D

i still got more dosh tied up in fishing gear than wfp, i could never give it up i started carping at 12 now 42, mind you slx 35 would make a good baiting pole ;D ;D

STOP! I don't have the time to spend doing nothing by the bank these days ;D
I never used a pole for Carp but I have seen it done very badly by a bloke getting moaned at by his missis, Pole snapped..... she went very quiet and they went home ;D
I'll have to pop up the Tackle Box and see if they do a line in WFP holders ;D

i have 5 poles.
22ft CLX main domestic pole
25ft brodex hydra alloy used for the odd commercial and bigger domestic account
20ft streamline glass fibre used for conny roof/fascia/soffit cleaning
30ft unger teleplus (converted for wfp) never been used as i currently dont have any work over 30ft
small unger optiloc pole used for washing the van! ;) ;D ;D
im going to buy a 22ft slx next month and that will become my main domestic pole with the clx as a good back up option.
