Post by: pete k on March 10, 2011, 10:59:23 am
hi guys,

i have recently bought a vna with wfp system in, everything is working fine, my tds readings are spot on too but when i clean a window im getting water marks drying onto it, this is happening about 50% of the time. have you guys got any ideas why this is happening? iv gone through and checked the whole system over to make sure its running properly and it seems to be.
thanks guys and girls

Ok, first thing is to check TDS where it matters.  Take a sample of the stuff coming out of the end of your pole.  Is that TDS 000?  You may already have done this but if not, it's the only place worth checking.  If it's out, you need to work backwards through your system (tank in van, holding tank, output from RO, etc) until you find the source.

If it's not that, then the rule "rinse, rinse and rinse again" might solve it.  Overdo it on a couple of houses and see how they dry.  If they come up fine, it's a technique problem and you just need to work on rinsing far too much at first, then ease off until you can see problems starting again.

Hope this helps.
