Street wise. ;D ;D ;D ;D They are light, rigid, inexpensive to purchase and ideal for almost all my domestics.
Slap on an extreme brush and away you go. More money saved for my fortnight Med cruise. ;D

Tell me. That is why I am about to bite the bullet and get a fancy carbon. Will break my heart though. Too many new jobs lately I struggle on. Only about 15 jobs so far but needs must.

I know a lot of people knock them but we use the Brodex Hydra poles, 3 year warranty, not the lightest but for the price they are great for us and are robust as anything.
We have them in all the vans, the 18's and 25's are used day in day out. The oldest is coming up to two years, only problems that we have had is the collars have unglued themselves and we've broken a couple of clamp levers.
I've had CF poles before, but to be honest and not knocking my staff who work like trojans, they don't get looked after properly, we were lucky if we got 6 months out of a pole.
The Hydra poles are £95 for an 18' pole or £115 for the 25', come c/w brush head ready to go, works out at under £40/year for a workhorse of a pole.

im planning on getting 22FT SLX for my regular work and im hoping ill get 2 years out of it if i look after it.
had my 22ft clx for 6 months and its still in good nick.used for nearly all my domestic work.
25ft hydra is a beast but its good for some commercial and bigger domestics.
20ft glass fibre streamline is for conny roof/fascia/soffit cleans.
30ft unger pole never been used yet as i dont currently have any work over 30ft.
i reckon when i get a slx 22ft i wont need to buy a new pole for a good few years!! ;) ;D ;D ;D
oh i have a small unger 5 footer for cleaning the van!
im a sole trader so i think 6 poles should cover me for a while!! ;) ;D ;D ;D
