Pure freedom have cheaper postage....Don't know whether they would have what you want though.

If not ring ionics in the morning. They would prob reduce the postage

Do you have a bolt warehouse near you? I would try there mate.

5 quid for delivery!

Rearrange the following words to make the name of a well known historical figure....

Hi Glen,
I have a tray of nuts and bolts from b&q.

Places like screwfix normally want you to buy 50.

Ordering at ten pounds is cheaper than a visit to a supplier.I would buy off ionics.

if thats those nasty plastic ones with a metal thread (left hand thread as well ithink) you may struggle to get them anywhere else, you used to be able to get nut only from alex at gardiners but  dont think they use those clamps on their poles anymore so spares will be scarce,i tried lots of bolt factors and no luck not bought a pole with that style of clamp since 3 years ago and those nuts were the main reason

If it's a part that may well fail in the future, maybe by a small quantity of them in one go?  Postage may well be the same amount.
Or perhaps buy a £20k system and they'll throw the nut in free?  ;D

Not defending them but sometimes websites find it hard to calculate prices for postage, i remember setting up one and it was a nightmare, i bet they have a minimum charge for postage so i imagine this is whats happened.

Maybe if you rang them theyd do it at a sensible price?...altho i have been wrong before lol

A few years ago I was charged £7 something for delivery on a couple of small connectors from Ro-man. They said it was their standard charge. I have never  used them since.

As Sensai LWC has pointed out, it's a problem with our online shop software not being very intelligent when calculating postage.  If you call the office to order it, we will charge a much more reasonable rate.

Some Stranger on a forum.

Now the above should be different, a Company that has sold a Pole ( It could be a complete system ) cannot even put a few nuts in the post for free

It's the law. You want to avoid paying your tax so the rest of us can pay more?

I was charged £7 postage a few years ago by CleanItUp for an Unger sleeve weighing about 50gms, and I've never bought anything from them since, and never will.

I once  sent someone an old backpack lid that I no longer needed.
He offered postage costs.
I just said to give it to a charity.
I'm all for saving a few quid when I can but there are times when it's just better to let a charity benefit.
