Title: Showa 460 gloves
Post by: Glen on March 06, 2011, 03:49:05 pm
Are these suitable for trad use? I've tried Joka Polar gloves but they're too bulky and not warm enough.

Must have tried ten different types of glove at this stage.

Glen i use em for wfp, they are brill, i have spent a hell of a lot of money on gloves only to find out they are all crap, but i have to say the showa is brill and costs under a fiver!
They would be perfect for trad, only prob being is they may make your scrims/ microfibre cloths wet quicker, but that would be the same for any glove mate

Thanks - so the 377 would be more suitable for trad? They look similar to the Glacier Perfect Curve which I didn't find warm and they made my hands sweat even though cold.

these are very good gloves lasted me one whole month and they are still going strong i will buy 3 more now.

Only downside if there is one is they are not very warm but that dont bother me it warms up later in the day normally.

my hands are clean and dry everyday for £2, im bloody impressed.

At the start of winter I bought 3 pairs of 377's and have used them since, rotate through the pairs through the day...the are relatively hard-wearing and cheap...I'de buy them again.
