It would be a first I think  ;D  I thought the old rule was to never bring the real book in from the car as they don't have permission to enter your vehicle.

Don't quote me on that mind  ;D

It wouldn't matter if he was the taxman, names on here mean nothing, and what you say on here isn't going to be admissible, it's simply an Internet forum, it isn't a law court.

I have 5 vans on the road, I pocket 15k from each van per year! Problem is now I have 300k sitting in my safe. Have not got a clue what to do with it. I've got 1 range rover, 1 Porsche, 2 motor bikes, 3 rolex watches, wardrobe full of designer clothes and I go on holiday 3 times a year!!
Declare it all it's alot easier!!!

All cash payments go through the books.  But we don't bank any cash.  Don't get that much these days, and all banking is done by post so no cash goes in the bank.  Simples

The amount of cash I get is a lot less these days as a percentage of take.  Although it often doesn't reach the bank, it does go through the books.  If the bank account is running tight, it's often safer to get a £10 or £20 out and add a little diesel with it in case I accidentally hit overdraft.
