Started telling some of ours on the 1st of March about price increases, 99% seem happy so far only another 3 weeks worth of customers to tell.

Looking at making £350-400 extra a month due to the increases that should pay for the ever increasing fuel bills!!  >:( ;D

Have put some up, but I don't like doing it. I think it stands around £6-700 extra on the year so far. I will put up some others but not many.

I am happy if it takes the sting out of the fuel hikes.

Needs must lads. with VAT going up and the price of fuel going up every week. I put all mine at start of year. All my custys understand the econmic situation and didnt have a problem with it.
Plus if they did moan and didnt want to pay that amount it would be there last clean at normal prices.
We offer a good reliable service in which I have no problem in telling them.

we have been putting prices up this last month, trouble is fuel prices are set to sky rocket plus inflation, mortgage rates are set to go up, all this on top of a vat increase  :'( :'( :'(
Lets just hope and pray

I was going to increase mine, but have sold some work instead to bring some readies in. Any new customers will be taken on at a premium though.  ;)

Im sending out my letters this week informing customers of the price increase on my round. Ive only selected the lower paying work and hope to increase the prices by 50p - £1.

I have a canvasser starting next week and im hoping to increase my customer base dramatically over the next three months and all at my new higher price structure.

Ive just been approved for a loan which i am using to buy work thats for sale and to buy some new equipment and i have just sold a round to boost the cashflow and free up some valuable time. Im now looking to employ another 2 people so i can put my energy into growing the business instead of running it. If theres anyone who has work for sale in the north west let me know!

Best Regards

Been sticking them up as i see them since feb

One round has had 25% increase, generally the rest are 10 - 20 %

Although one went from 3.50 - 5 which is probably the highest % increase but not an overall killer

Not one problem so far which tells me i have waited too long and they arent high enough so this year will whack them up and next year will knock them into what i would currently canvass them at and that will probably produce a few squirms but i will be happy then , probably just adjust for inflation every 18 - 24 months after that as cant be bothered putting .50 p on every year and £1 a year is probably too much

simple method: price increase every 2 years by £1 - £4

works well and all customers know the score, they feel they are getting a good deal when i say this years prices are staying the same for another year! and then when i say its price increase time this year they just say ok you held the price last year ...

Exactly what i do!!  ;)

I have put up about 30 ten pounders by £2 last week and not a single moan!! I think that's a 20% increase  ;D
