Title: Shurflo and Varistream kit

Chaps I'm in the middle of putting together a test system, I want to know if it's safe to run the pump via the controller box without fluid.  I want to test the vibration of the pump out although I'm wondering if using it without fluid might alter the vibration.

Anyone advise please.

When i set mine up i had a bowl of water and put both  the in and out of the pump into the bowl.
