how do you do yor first cleans im talking really dirty frames that haven't been done for a while.
i have thought of dipping the brush in tfr but will the brush need a lot of cleaning after any help will be great ;D
thanks paul

if it doesnt come off with pure water and a good scrub, then it stay on there, its not going to effect the outcome of how clean the glass is once its dried.

thanks for the reply but leaving the frames with dirt marks isnt an option i will just have to use the ladder for bad first cleans :)

See how those complaints I mentioned are playing on your mind mate ;D It's a tricky one alright, especially as most of those ledges will not be accessible with the ladder....
We shall have to put our brains together and work something out ;)

Don't know what you mean i have not had any complaints. I do the job to a high standard, if on the first clean the frames don't come up to my standards i just get the ladder out and go over them with a cloth with tfr on or im thinking about using some tfr on a brush for the one you can't get to with a ladder, after the first clean the frames will stay clean with wfp ;D ;D
im just looking for ways to work smarter not harder ;)

Many brains make light work of a problem ;D
That's what's so good about a forum, shame there's no private message available ;)
I'm not saying your ledges are filthy mate, it's just a common complaint I read and hear about. Something we need to solve.
I'm working on a project or two myself, just got to build my backpack first before I can test!!! Got most of the bit's I need now, just making my mind up on the business end, the pole and brushes :)

To be fair your standards are obviously high and there's not much option other than elbow effort and a cloth when it comes to UPVC. Your probably giving away a part UPVC valet for free with your first clean, as you know it will stay that way to.
Might be worth selling that to the client as part of the first clean, hence more money :) Or at least promoting it as a free service that normally costs. Then your seen to be giving them something for nothing, the fact that you do it anyway means there's no extra cost to you.
Would be super handy to develop a process that didn't require a ladder though, I have quite a few chemicals to test, snow foams etc. They might work :)
But you'd have to go some to beat the usual method.
