Was cleaning my biggest monthly contract ( 2 men 2 days each month ) when the estate manager asked me if I could also clean a large green house internal/external which I did and to be honest it came up a treat and he was well pleased.
However while cleaning the inside some roof windows had to be done from various angles resulting in lots and lots of water running down the pole and straight down my arm and into my armpit :D
thankfully I had my hot switched on so the water was at least warm when it ran down my arm :D
but jobs done for this month and invoice handed in.

If you get water running down the pole because of the angle, mostly when cleaning fascias, just tie a scrim around the penultimate (last but one for the hard of thinking on here!) section - problem solved.

Not sure of the pole diameter but you might find that a Kayak shop could help you with a slide on rubber that they use on paddles to stop the water ending up in your arm pit. See if you have a local one and pop in for a look.
At least you have super clean pits ;D
