Getting emails like this everyday now from apparently "banks" asking to click or confirm your bank account details >:(
Most I have not even got a bank account with them, I think they try it from every bank trying their luck.
But just got home from a small job and checked my emails and I had 4, thats since last night :o
Anyone else get these annoying emails and how do you deal with them, apart from blocking the sender as I've tried and still get them.
Thanks

Just block them.you may have to not just block the whole address but the second half also.

Forward this type of email to the real bank in question.
They may then be able to trace who they are from.
Unless it's a fraud no bank will request these details online.

What I did was rang my branch and they put me through to the fraud dept at head office . I was asked to forward the email in question so they could use it as evidence and pass it on to technical people who could trace them. Within a couple of hours a nice man rang me back and thanked me and said that this sort of stuff is very common but they are on the case as so are other banks and a warning was posted on the banks website. The main problem is the novices using email ...as they actually believe the emails and respond to them with bank details." That is what these people are after..."your bank details for use in scamming money from you or to create a false identity"

Same here i do get some through regular and they go straight to my junk side of the e mail account thankfully..

what email client you use? sounds like you got a useless junk filter. i clean mine out weekly and i got 50 emails in my junk folder and 99% of the time they're definitely junk. only junk mail it doesn't catch is stuff that isn't typical junk but newsletters i've some how signed up for but i un subscribe to each when i get them so doesn't last
