Is Nitrile stronger than Laytex ?
See the ones at restormate are Nitrile
Cheers Tony

Nitrile gloves are made of synthetic latex. for people with allergies to latex They contain no latex proteins
so don't react on the skin. don't know about the strength factor
I think the powder stuff inside is corn powder to stop the sweating.

If you have a Makro nearby they supply 6 packs of quality black rubber gloves, about a £1 a pair. I find the ones above rip to easily or go out of shape.

Shield are the best Vinyl I have used, mainly due to XL meaning XL, although disposables aren't meant as heavy duty and they will still tear. We bought these locally but supplier now stocks other make. Found them here but not bought from yet: -

Mapa Natural latex Vital Eco 117 are great all rounders. We've always bought from Janistore at about 28p a pair. Just looked and Janistore now merged with Sister Company, Cleanstore and price doubled. Link here: -

I find Nitrile much more durable than latex and possibly a little more reistant to some solvents. The Restormate/Craftex gloves are unpowdered.
-
nitrile gloves are a lot lot stronger than latex used to use them when i worked for the old man milking

So what about the ones that mechanics use, they have to wear them all the time and have them on nearly all day and obviously dont split or tear?
I think!

Tony i buy a couple boxes in at a time from www.justgloves.co.uk and found them to be suitable and and dont fall apart and you get them in xl sizes also.
