Hi Matt, got my aquatek booster pump today, heavy arent they?
Does it matter which way you position it, ie vertical or horizontal, and are they self priming, thanks

Yes they are self priming as far as I know, make sure you have your john guest hose coming out of the pre-filters into the pump, the out of the pump and into the membranes. It doesnt matter which way you have the pump, I have mine vertical.

Sorry for the delay in replying Matt, our little boy crept into the study and managed to totally wreck our hard drive on the computer! £380 for new computer and lost work as it was all on George, which I've managed to reload so out today ok.
Water production is actually fabulous, never thought I would be able to install a system but now producing all that I need at 000tds.
I keep checking the inline tds meter as I still cannot believe it.
I do know that if I increase my workload then I'll have to buy the upgrade kit, but at the moment I could produce around 200 litres a day, which covers my upper floor windows.
Do you leave your pump on when back flushing the membrane?
Thanks for asking how I was getting on.
Regards

Chris.
