Title: Here comes the Vax!
Post by: Neil Williams on February 27, 2011, 08:31:11 pm
Just seen the advert on TV.
Lady wants to buy cream carpet which the salesman questions.
But not to worry because the lady has a Vax rapide at home so she can clean the carpets herself thanks to mucky kids and dog, and we see it all in action. Quick drying too apparently, which must be some machine as it runs up a fantastic 1000 watts
Yours for £229

Who will get the first call to go around and put right the damage?

Well the buyers are clearly pleased ;D
The carpet cleaner did the job better than I hoped, as I had a water stain on my carpet at the doorway to my kitchen (caused by a leak from the house above...not my bad housekeeping). The stain has disappeared after only 2 cleanings.

it cleaned the carpets to perfection, was virtually dry and made the carpet very springy when you walked on it

Used it for my sons new home, cleaned secondhand carpets and three piece suite, both have come up like new. Son was over the moon, he thought he would have to throw out the carpets and buy new.

My grubby floors have come up like new! The only thing is my hubby now says that because the carpets look so great - we don't need to buy new carpets anymore

Amazing, did a really good job on an old tired carpet, made it look almost new again,

Well that's it then, stuff buying a truckmount when I can just do with one of these and a Ford fiesta ;D

A friend in Leicester was considering getting one and asked my advice....

Someone in Leicester will be getting a call to professionally clean her carpets  ;)

did a nursery on sunday where she'd been using a rug doctor for the past 4 years and she was getting to a point where it just wasn't getting any results and making it worse. after explaining everything on the survey she agreed to pay my price. she told me yesterday that she won't be using the rug doctor again. had a call from one of the staff today and booked her in for half a house. its about time we came up with a plan to fight back.

I like to think that in a round about way, the likes of RD and Vax at least get people thinking about cleaning their carpets... Sooner or later, they realise they're p'ing in the wind using such rubbish and eventually give us guys the nod... ;)

The lady I worked for this morning was one such customer.....
