Title: fitting gooseneck to clx
Post by: erithwc on February 25, 2011, 09:43:53 am
The end came off my pole on wednesday phone gardiners and they sent me some glue straight out top customer service.

So while im not working i have decided to fit the second hand Aluminium gardiners gooseneck to my pole what would be best to keep it on my clx  pole, i have read on the forum that they can come loose.

has anyone used thread lock or gardiners Hi-Strength Acrylic Glue Two-Pack Rapid Adhesive ?

I wouldn't glue it as you'll want to take it back off at times.

I've never had any problem with my Gardiner goosneck coming loose.

The best way to tighten or align anything with a thread is to generously wrap PTFE tape around the male thread. ;)
