Title: BEWARE OF THIS SCAM
Post by: dai on February 25, 2011, 09:32:44 am
There is a scam where people are receiving e-mails asking them to confirm their driving license numbers. Don't do it, it's another identity theft attempt.
Details here on the direct gov web site.

I had an email a couple of months ago purporting to be a request for a quote.  It said " please could you phone me on xxxxxxxxxxxx tel no  to arrange a visit to quote me etc"

The number was a premium rate no.
