Title: Ninja 400
Post by: irving on February 24, 2011, 12:30:40 pm
I got a Ninja 400, have anybody had problems with pressure dropping and what can you do about it. Ashby's don't seem that interested, machine is only 6 months old with less than 50 hours on it!

Under warranty then, take it back.
Is it dropping on start up or when you've started working?

I have one too, over three years old. sometimes pressure drops, found that to cure it I run the short pump out house from the clean tank for a while, with the machine turned up to full pressure. No need to run the vacs. I suspect is air pockets in the tube.

try what phillip has done and prime the pump and that should get rid of the air lock mate....

Sometimes I feel it's not on top form, but i find turning floe rate down then slowly ramping it back up works for me.

Same here Brian especially first thing.
Turn it up and down 2 or 3 times and
then it roars into full flow.
My Steamate has packed in now, £160
to repair locally so won't bother with it.

Think I have found the problem, even the temperature gage lamp switch off, it keep heating and after 20 minutes the water temperature was up on 80 celcius and the pump can't cope with that. Will try to get Ashbys to sent me the part so I can change it myself, it is under warrenty but the transport from the Isle of Wight is quit expensive. Many thanks for all the reply's. :-[
