Title: Concept2o Hot water Flow Rate?

A friend of mine has just got a Concept2o Hot Water system. It's attached to a 600L Tank and uses LPG from a fitted tank.
  Yet his system needs the water to be flowing at a tremendously high rate to fire up. When he works he's used up the whole 600L by 12.00!!!!
  What I want to know is this usual with their systems? Is there a way to reduce the flow and still have it heat up? What flow rate do other systems use?

sounds like your mate's system may not be working properly and needs a check over, or that he's dong something in his technique that's using too much water.  we have their system and work thru the whole day without needing a refill normally.  only on a day of 1sts do we need to refill.

i;d recommend he gives concept 2o a call and run thru whats happening with them.
