yeah but that was this morning,Frank aint you got any pics from jobs you did YEARS AGO like what the other gobpoope posts :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
nice job franky and a cracking price you got as well mate well done, you know very well that certain people on here would have priced that for a quarter of the price, bet your glad I put that quote together for you now so you owe me a breaky and an earl gray.
also mate did you go to that meeting I asrranged for you at that diy store ? I know if you get it and keep them happy you will get the other 14 stores in the south west area, let me know what happens.
-
yes i did have a meeting with the boss over the job,and he did say about the other 14 stores in the area. ;D ;)
but i know there is a company cleaning them at the mooooooooo ::) ::) :o :o :o :o
;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
dont worry about the other firm cleaning Frank as they are getting the boot as Ive already seen to that as they are absolutely useless.
that manager said whenever he pulls them up on poorly cleaned windows he says they all pretend they cant speak English and that a manager of another store even caught 2 of them in the storeroom muching about..
he said they are tied into a contract with them and there is another 15 months to go, but I have already put the wheels in motion.
dont you just love it when your mates wife works for the immergration services ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You boys that cycle, do you like my new toy? For the 10 mile league this year, just need to get down to a time to justify it, need to loose some weight though!
Best get in the garage on the turbo trainer for a while later.

Hi,
Off topic but relating to the bike photo.
I have a mountain bike that I take out for a spin now & again. My saddle is 2 or 3 inches out of the frame but well below the height of the handle bars. I find it a comfortable ride. When the peddle is down I find my leg nearly straight. The bike in the photo has the saddle well out of the frame resulting in it being over the handle bars by a foot. I put this down to the frame size being to small?

Just getting back into after a good few years lay off while riding motocross.
Got the pedals on my training bike at the moment, still need the the seat stem and head stem cutting to size - thats right everyone, over 3k of push bike and you have to supply pedals and cut bits to size!

I have a Giant tcr carbon. Quite fancy a Specialized Roubaix 'cos the roads are so bad round here.

No
30 miles yesterday morning. Might do the Bath 100 miler Black Rat ride or something? In april.
Used to do a couple of hundred miles a week before I started this job ;D
Wait 'till the clocks change, might get out more (or work later).
-
I went out yesterday morning - it appears I have a bit of a cold, lungs were burning within 3 miles and legs started to give up after 5, feel a bit fresher now, so going for an hour on the turbo as I need to loose 2 stone before the beginning of April when the 10 mile league begins.

I've booked up a 64 mile route round London for 24th June, am doing a charity ride through India later this year and lands end to John ogroats next year.

Hi scud , done any decent times at 10 TT
This will be my first season of TT for 18 years, I have been riding motorbikes instead for the last 18 years, they have a different sort of fitness requirement!!
I have now got my time down below 28 minutes, but am hoping to get down below 24, maybe even into the 23's on a good day, lots more work needed to get there, am over weight at the moment, but should get there if I can shift this bloody cold so I can get out training.
My step daughters partner regularly hits the low 22's and sometimes breaks into 21's, but he is alot younger than me and has ridden constantly for the past 7 years.
-
keep up the good work scuds
back on the bike probaly for the first time since i used to do tt when age 14/15,

Keep up the good work scud, don't forget you need to do do intervals at least once per week, and structure your training. The best I ever done was a 21:46 , on a fast course ( south cave running alongside the Humber). My club ( Hartlepool cc ) are holding the national 10 mile championships this year and we are hoping Bradley Wiggins is riding. Keep safe , regards kevin

put up a picture dave, what frame size and what £ ;)

Need to clean it first :o but it's in T Mobile Team colours compact frame fits me a treat at 5'10" Mint condition looking for £750. I bought it second hand in September to get back into cycling again. It's bloomin quick but a bit too racey for me these days with all the potholes round my way. Probably wait for the season to pick up and put it on ebay.
I stopped everything when i started window cleaning and poured all my energy into getting the business up and running about four years ago.
Now everything is going well I can relax a little and get back into a bit more leisure time although not as much as I would like.
Which leads me to another topic to post ...............

I am selling my bikes, if truth be known, I have to admit I find it bloody boring nowdays, am going to go back to motocross.
I made the decision the other evening, I use my hobbies to cut out daily life, and when pedalling it is too easy to let your mind wander to your problems. Motocross doesn't allow you to do that, you have to be on the money all the time or it is going to hurt, so that is where I am heading back to, and I am better at motocross than cycling - I know I will be one of the fastest at the motocross track, rather than mid/back of the pack on a pushbike.
The transition has gone, have an aluminium Trek Alpha 1000 to flog aswell, then looking for a KXF450.
