whats the best adhesive for plastic to metal as my brodex aluminium hydra are coming apart at the clamp
I did use araldite but lasts only weeks!

Are you using the genuine araldite or a copy?
I've always used araldite and never had a problem, make sure everything is clean and dry before hand, run a ring of araldite round the top of the pole and slide the clamp down over it, wipe off any excess that comes out the bottom, leave to harden for 24 hours.

Prittstick should do it.
-
if araldite aint working i would try epoxy resin .
-
I had the same problem and just put black tape around the clamps to pole and they have'nt moved a bit :D
-
Loctite I use from Wilko. 3 quid.

Have you used the Araldite twin syringe??
-
you can get the proper stuff from pure freedom ive just got some ;)

I put strip or duct tape round the pole, put loctite on it,then slide clamp over.
This works very well

It would seem preparation is the key word here...
I cleaned and sanded down the poles and used araldite in the end...did take my time...but there like new again...
