I have some potential carpet dying work for a carpet dyer in the Cheshire area if anyone is interested.
However, I am first wondering about the limitations of the work. The carpets are plain wool twist, medium/dark green and off white. They have been discoloured by dog urine which is showing up mainly bleached on the green carpet with one yellow area and just yellow on the white carpet.
If dying where not an option I may consider repair.
Thanks for any adise on this matter, I know very little about dying.

Only oxidising agents can make it lighter dye can alter the colour or make it darker, crayons you can make lighter infact I had a rug that had colour run on it and whitened the affected area for a customer it was a very pleasing moment as the rug was worth a few quid.

PS Robert hope you are OK after your epic journey

Sorry, where is this?
Re. crayons, how good will this do the job and is it permanent? The customer would prefer to replace all carpets rather than have a less than top job.
