I'm 99% sure its soft up there,

So you will probably just need a DI fella.

Yes I'd wait,

You don't need to be stuck with a 50 litre trolley, a 30ft pole and a TDS meter if you are dead.

I'd definately wait.

Dean.

you will still need a filter even if its soft, resin is about £80 a bag, and i would imagine you will be changing it quite often if your just using that. whereas a merlin filter is £20 every 3months

when you get your hip done get them to fit a extra socket fitted                                                          you will then have a place to balance you new pole

I live in Blackpool t.d.s 260 when I started 4 years ago pure freedom van set up di but soon realize I was spending a bag of  resin around 30 to 40 days got a merlin from pure freedom now I use a bag of resin every 6 to 7 months pre filter around 5 to 6 months.Water readings in Bolton should be around the same as Blackpool.
