How many other leaflets are delivered at the same time?, Do the distributors run checks to make sure they are actually delivered?
-
in my opinion this is too cheap to pay. a person can deliver between 100- 200 leaflets per hour. so at max speed (this is only in close housing) it will take 5 hrs min to deliver them. 5 x min wage is over £35 ish and that's without any overheads added for the organizer...
i've had a bit of experience with leaflet distribution companies and have always found the cheapest ones a nightmare to deal with and that they simply do not deliver the number of leaflets they say to the households they quote. they simply dump the excess leaflets.
best for me were royal mail, and a larger local distributor who charged about £50 per thousand, but were very good and reliable. if you consider the cost of leaflets wasted, as well as the increased response rate you get from them actually getting to the households, more expensive is generally more cost effective.

I use these and pay £10 a thousand for 42000 leaflets to be delivered its £20 a thousand if you don't send the full allocation out

I had the opposite trouble, I spent over £500 for 10,000 to be delivered and I am 100% certain they hadn't dropped ALL flyers I gave them.
I have 2 guys who deliver for £20 per thousand and they drop all of them.

if you can get some guy just to leaflet drop themselves that's the best i've had, in terms of price etc, but i had hassle of getting leaflets to them, giving them highlighted maps... etc etc. then its a trust thing. some of them are trust worthy and some wont be.

i wouldnt want use a company,if they are delivering leaflets for other people aswell at the same time, the customer would most likely just scoop them up and straight in the bin,iv just ordered 5000 business cards from vista prints £87 delivered plus i brought a metal card holder aswell,im just trying think of someone i no who might need a bit of work and would actually deliver them

When I am working there are loads of young Chinese guys delivering all sorts of leaflets. Saw one today, they must have the leaflet business cornered because they are not just delivering take away menus.
I reckon they are all illegals and some agency is paying them absolute zilch. they practically run from door to door.
Just had a thought, maybe its just one guy on steroids.
