Had a job this morning in a retirement home, luckily tm parked outside the old dears room requiring cleaning, got set up, started tm and went back into building.
Machine suddenly stopped, thought maybe i hadnt emptied waste, but it was empty, tried to fire it up again, nothing, checked fuel level 2" in so ok.
Old dear pops head out of window and says "sounds like it is out of fuel" told her it had some in and she says " well try putting van on to kerb, and level it up " mmhh i thought, so i did, 20 seconds later it fired up again !!!

"takes me back to land army days, i remember that problem " she says.
I was gobsmacked, i only charged her a tenner, she made me cuppa and buscuits too.

There was 2" of fuel on uneven groud, so other end of tank, possibly had no fuel to it, once level it fired ok.
Full tank of fuel for next job that was on steep street, worked fine,
must of been fuel starvation
