Morning all,
We have a few company vans and the costs are ever increasing to run the fleet.
So fuel bills out of control looking at pulling it back into line,
Do people use tracker or speed limiters to reduce fuel bills?
Any cheaper oprions out there for fuel purchase?
Your coments would be welcome
Regards
Nick

have a lwb sprinter x dhl (mellow yellow) had a limiter on set at 65mph fantastic untill engine goes into take home mode on the m1 motorway at lunchtime 20mph max and 240 miles from home.
Tracker will only tell you where your van is. not if your staff is wearing their diving boots?? and are you going to fine them for driving fast.
better of removing unused items from van reducing weight. every 3rd fill up use a main garage not supermarket (dont know why) but garage fuel seems better by around 40 - 50 miles on a full tank.
regular oil filter changes will help aswell.

Trackers will tell you route and speed your vans are taking so a route
plan will reduce millage a limiter will save fuel but could increase labour
costs only carry what you need and use a selection of vans no need for
a movano to carry a bucket and mop.
