What's Jeff Brimble upto these days?
He was doing a new pole last I heard, is he still making it?
If he is, has anyone got one?
-
yup me ;D ;D
-
Elaborate Gav ???
-
He's over on matt's cleaning forums ;)

Elaborate Gav ???
jeff brimble's ninja pole iv got one
clampless 22ft carbon pole light its gud ;) ;)
-
I don't think Gav was the right person to test Jeff's new pole.
He's never at work with that van of his. ;D ;D ;D
-
The Ninja is an excellent pole, i have one. I believe (although i stand to be corrected) that is a 'composite' pole. Its just push and pull, no expensive clamps to break. At 21/22 foot (roughly) its a great height for everyday residential work.
-
Can anyone post a decent, honest review of this pole? It sounds good but no one who has bought one has done a review that I am aware of. It would be helpfull to others if you could whatever you may think of it.
-
OOOOPS, you just beat me.
Anyway, thanks.
-
I'll try and get a vid up of it in operation.
-
That would good and popular too Mike if you could.
Thanks.
Ronnie.

sure there's a video on jeffs
site of him using it iv had mine since october
it needs a tweak as top is spinning
but its a very quick pole to work with
twist n pull ;)

ronnie im sure jeff will comment n reply in depth
to yr questions as mike as said its an excellent
cheapish pole £75.00 , im extremley heavy haned n dont
look after my gear at all lol iv managed to break my ninja
though when iv time il get jeff to tweak it , its extremly quick
once you get the hang of it, best used with a light brush bently or
superlight ;D ;D

My lad uses one, it's a handy pole but nothing fancy. It's telescopic and the pole taper will keep it up in the extended position.
When your using it closed all the sections would spin, but Jeffs overcome this by appling self anealing tape to the top of each section. The sections will still spin with wear, so you need to keep a roll of electricians tape in your pocket, a couple of wraps of tape fixes it.
As I said it's nothing fancy, but a very quick pole in use, and a nice short length when closed.

Jeff still posts alot on Matts cleaning forums

yup me ;D ;D
and me 8)

In haste. Some may rember that Hardys where the b and end all, of split cane fishing rods a long time ago ::)
My own analaogy of the Ninja is that its a similar comparison in that each pole has to be "tailored" to suit window cleaners.
It evolved from thought after realising that there are a few companies making lots of our hard earned bucks out there, after adapting modular fishing poles, I thought how can we get to cheap telescopic ? the "Ninja" is my answser. Light compact 4ft sections and very tough for staff use (excepting Gav ;D) (thanks Gav hope you organise a few night runs for the Wrexham scooter lads to Ruthin Square in the summer.
Its a belt and braces answer and is being further developed.)
I am in no hurry to sell any of them as I think you will find that they are a thinking mans wfp. I am happy to to sell one only one a week as they take that long to doctor, so I believe that you get true value for money. Sold a batch to the USA a few months ago - where they where quoted as being the " fastest selling pole in WCR history".
Thanks for the thought Tosh ! got fed up with the page load up times here. :o

ive tried them all you need is to follow my upgrades for better signal depending on what you use it for but cant hurt to improve it,
-
JSM (passed you on the dual carrige way this am)
Put the heavy Vikan on the push fit neck ( you will hear more about push fit connectors later as they are easier and faster) and simply leave the top 3 sections inside the pole, it makes it stiff enough to take the weight.
Gav I have plenty of spares for yours.
