Get three 6 foot 4 ones to stand on eachothers shoulders. I'm sure they will do a good job. Just make sure they have not been on the ol' Tyskie.

Dazmond, haven't you only recently gone over to wfp?
If so, how do you know these are the best poles out there for domestic? Surely you haven't tried all the poles on the market all ready?
I swear by the ally brodex poles, yes the clamps have come unglued, but the pole won't wear out in 4 months like all the poles for the price do. and yes, I have been through alot of the cheaper end of the market poles.
I know i will now get all the weight comments, but I like the brodex, perhaps I am just strong and fit enough to use it all day!

Work smarter, not harder Scuddy boy! ;)

Working smart to me is knowing that my pole will see the day out without pratting around repairing it.
Thats why I also have a leased van that is changed regularly, it maybe the slightly more expensive option, that is until an older van goes wrong and costs me lost time and repair costs, the pole is along the same lines, it has no problems and does the job it is for.

But the clamps came unglued! ;D
You do all that then handicap yourself with a drain pipe! ;D

I've been using one (25ft slx) daily for 3 years! ;)
Those hybrids will make good drain rods though so don't just sling them! ;D
-
i have used a certain alloy pole SCUD!
All camps came un glued
Do you get the problem with the clamp levers opening up to much and jamming the pole?
As for the clx I dont have one butwill be ordering soon after a recent conversation with a fellow wfp who had nothing but praise for it and the slx.
do you have a problem with gardiners? you sound like you do matey!

Funny old world innit, i've tried most of the poles like you. And yes you will get all the weight comments .I'm strong and fit enough to use one all day, the only thing that stops me doing it is my brain, it tells me its harder and long term day in and day out it doesn't do my body any favours.
You keep plugging how strong and fit you are to be able to handle a Brodex pole all day, and i'll say i can operate the 27 CLX with one hand and its a breeze.
I'm sure you're gonna help Brodex sell loads of them with that catchphrase..."i'm strong and fit eough to use it all day " !!!! ;D

Awkward conny roof done friday, clx was out for the windows of an adjoining barn conversion so hooked up the brodex 18 ft alloy and vikan sill brush to the customers tap for the conservatory roof.. Fine for up and down the roof but as soon as i got to the finials and the awkward bits around the back i wished i had bothered with changing a few connectors and used the clx,am still aching in places. Rinsed with the clx and superlite DT 15 degree splay and so an immediate comparison was made. Conclusion,1 hardly used Vikan Sill brush and Brodex 18 ft alloy for sale. I nearly bust it up there and then so i wouldn`t be daft enough to use it again. What a massive massive difference and the superlite loses nothing in performance to the vikan sill brush and its 9 million times easier to use. Bought the sill brush after hearing rave reviews on here, obviously by goliath impersonators. Superlite DT 15 degree great brush and for sills i take 2 steps back to change the angle and hold the pole more aloft.
The phrase "You dont need a sledgehammer to crack a nut kept coming to mind".
I have a 30ft Unger optiloc which was used for conny roofs, gutters etc before i got clued in on wfp gear and before i got my hands on a clx the Brodex seemed a great improvement. I had a Brodex 36ft carbon modular and that was superbly light and rigid but not practical for everyday use so i sold it unused.I would have an SLX tommorrow if they knocked them out at £10 a week.
Using the heavy gear all day every day will almost certainly be something you will regret,in fact i might start a thread now to see if theres any common ailments from long term wfp use.
