ok some may think Ive been over the top with this one but had enough of this customer so wasnt bothered if I lost them or not.
Called them last night (access thru locked gate) and got the "there ok leave em this time" this was the 2nd time in 4 months so had enough. oh and their windows always covered in bird crap as they like to feed the flipping things.
dropped this letter thru their letter box this morning.
10.02.2011.
Dear Mr / Mrs XXXXXXX,
Further to our telephone conversation last night when you requested to “leave it this time as there not too bad” I have decided to move your allocated slot in my round to a bi-monthly position.
I have decided to do this as my round is very busy and I allocate a cleaning slot 4 weeks in advance, also this is not the first occasion you have cancelled a clean without sufficient prior notice.
However as I will need to spend extra time and effort on your windows and frames as they will be dirtier the cost will need to increase from its current £14 to £18 so as to reflect the extra effort required to maintain them to a high standard.
If you prefer to stay on the monthly allocated position at £14 then please let me know ASAP or if you wish to be totally removed from my round please contact me ASAP as I have a list of people wanting their windows cleaned on a regular basis.
Best Regards
Ian the Window Cleaner.
they called me 30 mins ago asking to go back to monthly clean and apologised saying didnt realise window cleaning was a properly run business ???
