Post by: Gary Humphreys on February 10, 2011, 06:48:37 pm
Had a call to clean a 100% wool rug todat that a dry cleaner wouldnt clean because he said the chemical dry cleaners use would damage the hessian backing. Can anyone tell me why?

The the hessian backing works like a secondary backed carpet and has glue in it, the solvent will perish the glue and make the rug go limp, I would guess that a straight HWE should sort it!

Show us a pic of it or search google for a simular one and show us that.
