Prior to any high access window cleaning work, we will need to carry out a full site specific Health and Safety review, and document individual method statement and risk assessments. Our trained operatives work in major cities across the UK including Blyth, Gateshead, Hexham and Newcastle.

Above is from their website. Don't think they are doing that well. Since when have Blyth and Hexham been major cities. I have never heard of them and Gateshead is not massive either as I have been there.

hi guys, not too sure if they've gone out of bus but i know that a certain nationwide bookies has paid to get out of a 3 year contract with them-and i got my work back after 13 months of them sending muppets to do the jobs :P If you saw them on dragons den you'll know which bookies it was.

why they employ folk who have families? another national will step in and take their work anyway if they are bust. Sad if it is true.

Not so sad, they appear on dragons den and say they have a national contract with a company that i was still doing work for 3 months later!!!! Ok they got it eventualy but 13 months later i got the work back-with a good price increase cos i wasn't assd about doing it :-*

Can't stand Bannatyne or that Tony guy, both jumped up twerps.

Apart from that, they might employ, they make lots of money while their muppets work their balls off. I don't support Nationals at all, they can all go bust for me. Let the smaller Co's & sole traders locally do a proper job & the money is more fairly spread out that way! ;)

Bet they wern't concerned one jot as they went round the country trying to get contracts here there & everywhere?

Were they bothered about the guys who's work they were taking?

No why would they worry? I don't, if I win a contract I couldn't give two hoots who used to do it. I am not bothered if they are going bust but I am not celebrating the fact, well not unless I can get the bupa home they do in my town;D

They've also been in negotiations with one of my largest clients and pursuaded them that they only need there windows cleaned once a fortnight-so they came to me and cut back from 2 cleans a week to one a fortnight, cost me the equivelant of 30 hours work per week covering 14 of there branches!!!!! So in my view if they go under tough cr4p!!! They weren't bothered about me when they were after that contract :'( w4nk3rs

Ok mate I take the point fair enough, they are obviously affecting your income so it is in your interest to see them go under, I can understand that ;)

Bannatyne is a very minded man, me and misses where members of our local gym paying £90 a month, when I was doing a charity event for my daughter we asked lots of local businesses to donate items, one of them being the gym that I was a member with for 3 years and they earnt over 3k from us, they wouldnt even donate a free months pass (which could of gained them a new customer) of not even a towel/bag etc, as there not allowed, this is the reason they dont get my money no more, so if they have gone bust I hope duncan has lost money too.....

There are about 20 replies talking about "if they have gone under" so on and so forth but is there anyone that lives near their offices go and find out the truth. I am currently not doing window cleaning but pressure washing and they have not affected me. If they have affected you the best thing is to find the facts because if you have lost business to them and they HAVE gone you need to get back to these customers you lost and try and get them back. If they left you on price they may be sheepish to come to you with their tails between their legs and someone else will get them. Offer them your original or higher price if you can. If you were good and they know you are they will have leant their lesson about just price and want to keep you this time.  :)

the problem is you can go in cheap for so long then it catches up with you the prices they charge you can not make big profits there are certain things you can not get cheap
fuel
tax
ni
insurance
maitanance of viechals

you can get cheap

workers
tools
jobs

but at a stage your outgoins come to more than your incomings

No, they have gone bust 100%. Read the tweets if you don't believe, better still phone them up and ask them!!! Doesnt matter how driven they are, they over spent and under delivered.

I never believed it.It's in the rules that they mustn't have met before, but i got the idea it was pre planned. The figures didn't stack and it was all about tony being a mini duncan.A set up.

The money in window cleaning isn't good enough to be an instant millionaire.

Dragons Den was exposed for exactly this before - They were using people with connections to the dragons (ie they had met before) and they were also inviting people to pitch who hadn't actually applied - Levi Roots with his Reggae Reggas sauce being one - he "accidently" let slip in a tv or radio interview (cant remember which it was now) that they had asked him to pitch.
