I
Have just got an office cleaning contract and I have to dispose of the
feminine waste , does anyone know how to do this to comply with
H&S protocol , thanks

Easy one.

Sub it out.

You will have bins in place. Or should have. If not the subbie will provide those.

As an idea on costs 1 bin per year on a monthly change is about £60 - 75.00 thats per bin.

I would not bother doing it yourself as I think it will cost you too much.

Did you not get the costings on this prior to obtaining the contract? How many bins do they have?

Although much can be done to minimise waste and encourage reuse at an individual or departmental level, there are instances where the purchasing strategy of the whole company needs to be involved This will most probably form part of a broader environmental management policy.

How would you go about encouraging reuse of feminine waste ?

Pristine those charges are a bit high, we can offer the monthly service Uk wide for £48 per bin per year on a monthly change
