hi everyone im new to window cleaning, been practising for weeks now feel confident to go do it.
taken a week of work went door knocking saturday leafleting sunday picked up 11 cleans by knocking and had 3 calls from leaflets cleaned 7 today and cleaning others wednesday im worn out my legs hurt my shoulders killing but i really have had a great day no boss on the phone and only worked half the hours i would with my job.
just like to say thanks to this forum for tips and advise i may just be able to escape the 75 +hours aweek job ive got

Good on you mate, you will escape but you will need to put alot of hours in to build up a decent customer base.
It will be hard work if you can knock about 5-8 hours a day about 30-43 hours a week 2 weeks solid tell them the 1st clean will be within 2-3 weeks , clean all the houses you got,then work out which ones are not suitable ,and so on,

8 hrs saturday not easy but worth every second when someone says yes

if you keep going at the rate you are and with spring just sround the corner then you may be packing your old job in by the summer.

well done mate you beat me i think i only did 6 houses on my first day earnt about £45,i use to be so slow checking every inch of the window for a smear ::)

you picked a nice for it. keep going you ache even more by the weekend. hot bath and a cold beer (several) works wonders

starts getting a bit tiresome and boring after 17 years doing it!plenty of time yet to get pee d off though!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

Excellent mate, glad your enjoying it, I'm In a similar place building up work, 7 customers is a good start for a day or two canvassing, be encouraged by that and keep knocking! Jake
