Title: WFP Technique
Post by: Pure Glass on February 07, 2011, 05:01:42 pm
Right then.....the day is rapidly approaching for the first day of WFP

What way do you find best, particularly for first cleans? Top frames, windows and the side frames? then sill?

All frames/then all windows? or top frame on all windows then go back to the first. Do you leave a gap at the top of the window so as not to drag down any muck from the seals.

Thanks

Start on the upstairs windows, scrub the whole frame especially the tops and rinse really well, do this for all the tops then do all the bottoms. Once you have cleaned all the frames go back to the first windows and clean the glass and give it a good rinse, and do the rest the same.

it will be very time consuming, but it will be worthwhile and will set you up well for cleaning from then on.

give your frames a real good scrub then scrub the glass and rinse well.scrub the sills!
then go to your next windows.
Don't waste your time going back to the window again!total waste of time and water, aslong as you rinse well you will never need to go back to a window.
I never have and never will!
