Which is the better solution prochem the one from hydramaster or other? Your views please.

I use Ferox, its less than £20 and has lasted for months and months, bought it from local Plumbing Centre.
-
Brick acid from builders merchants £6.50 for 5 litres will clean it at least twice.
Cheers Tony
ps. descale once a month put a litre in each time.
-
Brick acid = hydrochloric = not good for your plumbing!!! Sure it will descale a lot more dramatically but also knacker your equipment over time.
Phosphoric is the one you need.
Clover products do a descaler called Phos which is very concentrated, much cheaper and more effective than the stuff like prochem make.

Jims right (again).
I carry a ltr of white vinegar in the van in a plastic bottle and if I think things are slowing down or clagging up a bit I put a bit in the header tank, it flushes through on the next job as I am setting up.
You can allways get it anywhere from decent sized supermarkets. Its been a life saver for me a few times.

I just bought and used this and wow it is fantastic stuff. Only put 300ml in machine, run for 20 mins warm, flushed it through afterwards with cold water and not a spot of any scale or chemical residue anywhere.

Expensive!!!!! If you have a local Clover products supplier you'll be paying half that.
-
Not a problem if flushed as per norm

Am with Jim on this one, Phos by Clover cheap and better than all the supplier versions.
