Hi,
Not me, but my back pack which has never been used as I am traditional. I have used the Harris pole & brush many times to clean conservatory roofs with good results but has been hard work.
I am cleaning a long & wide glass sloping roof next week with ingrained dirt which I know will require a lot of scrubbing traditionally. I am sure I can get some pure water , so I have all that's needed. Back pack battery is on charge for 24 hours for first use.
Shall I soak with tap water or just get straight in with pure?

Hi Battery is up & working. Slash I would like to take you up on the offer of water if you are just down the road. Please note I don't have any containers except for the ones the milk comes in.
Please email me.

All depends on how dirty it is. You will use a lot of pure water though, so it would be best to use tap water first.
Little tip, fill the backpack up with tap water (hosepipe), and add the correct ratio of TFR. Scrub whilst spraying it on, to really agitate it, leave for around 10-15min. Then wash as normal.
Depending if it's clear glass or polycarbonate and depending on how quickly the water dries, you might have to use just pure. If it's a cloudy day and small enough roof I would just use tap water, and then go for a final pass/rinse with pure. Ideally you wouldn't want the tap water to dry because that will leave spots and would again require another pass. It would be fine for polycarbonate roofs though. Just a quick rinse after with pure.

you can just use the pole hooked up to the outside tap.much better pressure and flow and pre soak the roof by dipping the brush in a tfr mix and covering the whole roof.leave 10 mins then scrub and rinse until clean.this is ok for polycarbon roofs.for glass roofs do the same but use gg3 or squeegee off to pre soak and finish off by using a swivel squeegee on a extension pole and fixiclamp with scrim in to touch up any edges.
NO NEED TO USE PURE WATER!!FLOW IS MUCH BETTER FROM OUTSIDE TAPS!! ;) ;D ;D
