hi i have 3 storey houses to do i have a unger pole with versa/visa on but still leaves water marks is it best to use pure water for these jobs i mean spring water from tescos thanks
-
Probably would be alot easier to use a wfp on it. You could get a backpack, pole and see if someone would sell you some pure. You wouldnt need much really, just a few 25L barrels would do
-
would spring water do the same can get it cheap
-
you would need check the tds of spring water i think
-
I would expect spring water to have a high mineral content. What are you using in your water and how much of it? Maybe try GG3 , something like that if you are just using Fairy ?
-
hi using s off from ettore
-
Maybe try a bit less of it on the high windows, and you're banging the blade between pulls?
-
yes mate some one theres pills to put in water dont know if true
-
Spring water has a lot higher tds than ordinary tap water ... so its a no-no....
its not pure water as we know it.
surely you know someone who uses pure.... if not nip to wilkinsons and get some dionized water , they sell it in bottles very cheap,... for car batteries.

Its hit and miss with springs, the Campsie Fells in Scotland is amongst the softest (approx 30 tds in the brand "Highland Spring" water) also from tesco, wheras Buxton and Bath waters about 90 tds, its the calcium minerals in the ground thats the culprit.

you culd use tap water with gg4 in window cleaning warehouse sells made by titan.
Not really the easiest way to clean windows, though i'm not experienced in this method.
Need to talk to dazmond on this he's skilled in pole trad work.

forgot to say gg4 is made for window cleaning in hard water areas and softens the tap water, also if there's abit left on the glass i think it would dry ok without causing too much trouble.
